George Papoulias

George Papoulias is a senior professional with more than 30 years of international experience in IT Service Management, IT Governance, Quality Assurance, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, and IT Audit. He has held leadership positions across the banking, energy, consulting, and technology sectors.
Throughout his career, George has undertaken a variety of key roles and positions of responsibility in complex large-scale international IT projects across Europe and the Middle East. His professional background includes roles with organizations such as PPC Group, National Bank of Greece, Piraeus Bank, Citibank, ABN AMRO, and Temenos Global Services, as well as participation in major international programs, including the Athens 2004 Olympic Games IT operations.
A strong advocate of professional excellence and continuous learning, George holds a CIS degree from W.P. Carey School of Business of Arizona State University and numerous internationally recognized certifications in IT Service Management, Governance, Audit, Risk, Cybersecurity, and Leadership. He is an active contributor to the ITSM community, a conference speaker, and has served in leadership positions within organizations such as itSMF Hellas, PMI Greece Chapter, and ISACA Athens Chapter.
